Alternatives personnel provide domestic violence and sexual assault training for professionals in the fields of law enforcement; health care; workplace; emergency response; ministry; and education. Alternatives is certified through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy to provide accredited training hours.
Alternatives has speakers available to present to social clubs; civic and church groups; and youth organizations. Presentations are modeled to fit the needs of the organization.
Alternatives services include an employment training center for residents of our emergency shelter and transitional housing programs. The service includes basic adult education; job skills; and employment search.
Dating Violence Prevention
Alternatives provides dating violence and sexual assault prevention programs for middle and high school students. More information on the program can be found here.
